Impossible Quiz - I DARE You

Here is a Quiz which is impossible to solve... If you think you can then I DARE you...

Game - Cross the River

Here is one more of my crazy puzzles. This one's a bit tough than the previous one.

This test was developed and used in Japan for job and university IQ tests. Mainly used in the IT sector. This test is solved in around 15mins (in Japan). How long will you take.

:: RULES ::

• Only two people can travel at once.
  
• Daddy can not stay with the girls without the presence of the mother.
  
• Mum cant stay with the boys without the presence of the father.
  
• The arrested red-hair girl in stripy outfit cannot stay with any of the family members without the Police officer.
  
• Only the Police officer and the parents can drive the boat across the river.
  
  
• Click on the people you want to transport.
  
• To use the boat click on the red dots next to the boat.
• To start press the BIG BLUE button

Game - Cross the Bridge

Here is one of the brain teaser that will exercise your grey cell and prevent them from rusting further. It may fancy you if you are one of my breed who enjoys solving such puzzles.

All you need to do is help this FAMILY to cross to the other side of the bridge. However, its not that easy. There are a few constrains. The most important being time.

:: Rules ::

• It is night, So U must have a fire lamp.
• Each person cross the bridge at a different speed.
  [1-sec] [3-sec] [6-sec] [8-sec] [12-sec]
• Only 1 or 2 person can pass the bridge at a time.
• A pair must walk together at the rate of the slower person.
• The FIRE LAMP enough for 30-sec only !!!!

Which Brain Are You?

Ever wondered why are Left handed people referred to as smart asses. Whats so unique about them that makes them stand out in the crowd. Here is a logical explanation - Funda. I came to this conclusion around twelve years ago in one of my biology lecture in high school.

A detail post-mortem of the human brain was in progress. The different spheres and what each sphere specialised in was too interesting to miss. Well however I wont take you through that grind.


This logical conclusion was derived from a few very commonly known scientific facts. If you didn't know these go check some wiki's.

1. The left brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa.
2. An average human uses the left brain 62.5% and right brain 37.5% to process data, take decisions and react.
3. To come out with "Out of the Box" ideas you need to use your right brain more than the left one.
   

Now lets do a logical analysis and concentrate on each of these statements.

The left brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa.

The fact that you do most of your basic activities with the right hand denotes that your left brain is more at work (approx 62.5% usage).

If a person is left handed it means his right brain is at work now having a usage which is more than 37.5% than a average brain.

More usage of the right brain the better survival skills you have.

Hence left handed people are considered smarter and stand out in the crowd as they use more of their right brain as compared to an average right handed person.


Disclaimer : This is a plain logical funda derived by my right brain. I do not take any guarantee on its authenticity or it being practically correct. However logically its fit to be called a Kharmakzee's Funda... A Kool Funda... Aint it?

Magic Trick

Here is a simple logical puzzle. Some magicians use this to give example of illusion. This is how the story goes.

There was a shephard who had a flock of sheep. He appointed a wolf to guard them. The sheeps were flocked in exact tens around a pit. Every evening the shepard would count his sheeps in the way shown below before retiring for the night. This was easier to keep track as he knew counting only till ten.

The wolf was smart and was aware of the shepards weakness. The first day he eat one sheep and re-arranged them. The shepard as usual counted the sheeps at the end of the day and didnt come to know of the missing sheep.

The next day the wolf's greed increased. Now he eat two sheeps from the herd and again re-arranged them in such a way that each group had exactly ten sheeps.

Any idea how the wolf did it. Here is how it was done. If you want you can do it simultaneously and see the magic for yourself.

1. On the first day he eat the sheep from this position.







2. Then he moved the sheep from the position shown below to the new position.








3. This is how it looked after a sheep was eaten.







4. The shephard came in the evening and counted the sheeps.







Here there were ten sheeps like the previous day.

5. The next day the greedy wolf ate two sheeps this time from these positions.








6. He then moved the sheeps to their new positions as shown below.











7. Once again in the evening the shephard counted them all and there he had ten sheeps in each of the groups as the previous day.









This is how the three sheeps were slaughtered and the wolf retained his job as well. ;)
